Policymaking & BUSINESS Advocacy
Influence the formation of policies at a national and American level towards the development of enterprise culture, to create favorable economic conditions for its members, and to promote the interests of a wider business community. In order to do this, the AMERIGLOBAL Policy Unit prepares well-researched technical papers on various thematic areas, which include economic affairs, competition and competitiveness, energy and environment, international trade, taxation, labor and social aspects, research and innovation, and sectoral issues raised by its sections and committees. These papers are presented to all relevant stakeholders locally and internationally, and further lobbying is carried out to make sure the AMERIGLOBAL's position is taken into consideration. Through its memberships and affiliates in AMERIGLOBAL is well represented in various European social dialogue forums.
