Who are TKMS ATLAS UK?
TKMS ATLAS UK (formerly ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK) provides innovation for underwater systems for the Royal Navy. Operating from its headquarters at Winfrith in Dorset, TKMS ATLAS UK has invested in its unique in-house test and integration facilities in order to support its growth in supplying to UK and global markets of submarine and surface ship systems, including sonar, autonomous systems, marine electric actuation and mine countermeasures.
TKMS ATLAS UK has waterside access in Portland Harbour that provides both them and their partners with excellent facilities to test systems at sea.

SeaSense
SeaSense is a variable depth sonar designed to deliver exceptional performance in challenging maritime environments. Engineered for deployment from both small crewed and uncrewed surface vessels, SeaSense offers unparalleled flexibility and effectiveness for search and detection missions within confined or complex areas.
ARCIMS
The ARCIMS Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) represents a significant advancement in maritime technology, offering a versatile and robust platform for a wide range of naval missions. Designed to operate autonomously or via remote control, ARCIMS delivers enhanced operational flexibility, safety, and efficiency the marine environment.
MCM Toolbox
The Mine Countermeasures (MCM) toolbox combines TKMS ATLAS UK’s advanced MCM payloads with our flexible ARCIMS USV (Uncrewed Surface Vessel) to deliver a full suite of MCM effects.
Autonomous mine countermeasure operations represent a significant advancement in maritime security, combining modern technology with operational flexibility to address underwater threats efficiently. These systems are designed to perform a range of critical tasks, including minesweeping, mine hunting, and the identification and disposal of underwater mines.
Submarine Systems
The Submarine Systems Division provides the end-to-end development, supply and support of equipment, systems and technical services related to the Combat System, Platform System and ‘whole boat’ aspects of a submarine. Capabilities include sonar systems, stealth, Underwater Defensive Aid Suite (UDAS) and electrification.
Cerberus
Cerberus Diver Detection Sonar (DDS) offers robust protection for critical national infrastructure, maritime assets, and sensitive coastal areas. Designed to address the growing need for effective underwater threat detection. CERBERUS combines leading sonar capabilities with intuitive operation, making it an essential solution for safeguarding ports and naval bases.
SEA Class
The SEA Class workboat is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of modern maritime operations, offering a robust platform that excels in both performance and safety. Certified to MCA Category 2 standards, the vessel is authorised for operations up to 60 miles from a safe haven, ensuring it is well-suited for coastal and offshore assignments.

The Graduate Scheme
The scheme aims to support Graduates from the time they join the company, until the day they achieve professional accreditation through varied learning opportunities. Graduates are assigned to suitably qualified and experienced mentors to further support their professional progress. The scheme is closely monitored with regular reviews and a Graduate Training Programme, including a project supported by the Senior Management Team. Graduates will continue to be supported and mentored until they achieve their desired incorporated or chartered status.
