Operating within SP Transmission’s Contract Planning and Performance function, this role sits at the centre of a diverse supplier ecosystem comprising local, national and global providers delivering critical equipment, materials and services to our transmission network.

Expectations

• Developing and maintaining supplier governance data and reporting
• Building a supplier database to support the provision of accurate, timely data insights on supplier criticality, risk, cost, supplier markets and performance
• Supporting the implementation of structured supplier governance approaches
• Producing analysis and reporting to inform commercial, operational and strategic decisions
• Maintaining visibility of contract lifecycle events, including renewals and key milestones
• Supports governance across a multi supplier environment
• Contributes to oversight of supplier criticality, supply chain and markets risk and performance
• Produces reporting influencing operational and strategic decision making
• Plans and manages delivery of reporting, analysis and governance outputs within a defined timeframe
• Organises and maintains supplier data, reporting cycles and governance schedules

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a supplier governance related role
• Strong analytical and data interpretation capability
• Ability to translate complex data and market trends into clear, actionable insight
• Reporting and dashboard development (Excel and Power BI or other visualisation/reporting tools essential)
• Understanding of supplier and contract governance and performance frameworks
• Awareness of commercial and financial management principles
