Slingers Wanted – Join BAE Systems on the Dreadnought & Astute Programme!

Morson Talent is recruiting experienced Slingers/Riggers to work on behalf of BAE Systems at their world-renowned shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness, supporting the prestigious Dreadnought and Astute submarine programmes.

12-month contract with a strong chance of extension
Immediate starts available (subject to security clearance)

What we’re looking for:

Marine or heavy industry experience
Rigging/Slinging experience
A strong commitment to safety and quality

What you’ll be doing:

• Lifting and slinging loads safely
• Working in confined spaces
• Providing temporary protection solutions
• Supporting production activities across the site
• Preparing equipment, materials and consumables
• Assisting with plant and equipment maintenance
• General cleaning and housekeeping to company standards

Pay Rates (PAYE) Currently only demand for locals within 39 miles from site 

3 On / 4 Off

• Local: £21.08 per hour

Nights

• Local: £23.37 per hour

 Umbrella rates are also available.
 Full rate card available on request.
