Senior Mechanical Engineer, SME (Rotating Equipment)

We are seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer or Rotating Equipment SME to provide technical expertise on the design, operation, maintenance, and reliability of rotating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for rotating equipment.
• Review equipment specifications, calculations, drawings, and vendor documentation.
• Support equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment performance, vibration, alignment, lubrication, and reliability issues.
• Lead root-cause investigations and recommend repairs or equipment improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering, maintenance, operations, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 20+ years experience with pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, motors, fans, etc.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, maintenance, condition monitoring, and failure analysis.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear, oil and gas, mining, or heavy industry.
• P.Eng. designation and nuclear experience are considered strong assets.
