Administrator (Part-Time, Temporary Contract)

Location: Home-based (with occasional travel for meetings and training, mainly travel to Warrington)
Contract: Temporary (approximately 2 months, with potential to become longer term)
Hours: Part-time – 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 4 hours each morning)
Salary: £15.38 per hour

About the Opportunity

Morson Edge is recruiting on behalf of our client, a specialist consultancy that represents tenants of commercial property. The business benchmarks insurance premiums charged by landlords and negotiates reductions where premiums are found to be excessive, helping clients achieve significant cost savings.

As part of an exciting period of transformation, the company is launching a new AI-driven business system. They are looking for a highly organised, accurate, and proactive Administrator to support the team during this transition. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, has excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently from home.

The morning working pattern makes this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours, such as around school commitments.

The Role

This is a varied administration role supporting the day-to-day operation of the business. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, analysing information from insurance documentation, managing client communications, and ensuring data is processed efficiently within the new AI-enabled system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and maintain data across company databases and systems
  • Manage electronic filing and ensure records are organised and up to date
  • Extract, interpret and analyse information from insurance invoices and certificates
  • Prepare reports and documentation for clients
  • Respond to client queries professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with mail merges, data collection and ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Support the wider team with analytical and administrative activities as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, analytical and enjoys working with numbers and data. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, be confident using IT systems, and thrive in an environment where accuracy is essential.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Experience within Real Estate, Property Management, Business, Finance or a similar sector is advantageous
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and confident using database systems
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Professional, personable and confident communicating with clients, landlords and managing agents

Desirable

  • A-Level Mathematics (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with data-heavy systems or AI-enabled platforms
