We are thrilled to announce that our exceptional payroll team has been shortlisted for the prestigious In-House Payroll Team of the Year award at the CIPP’s Annual Excellence Awards 2025.
This esteemed event, organised by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), is a highlight of the CIPP’s Annual Conference and Exhibition – the UK’s largest payroll conference and exhibition – celebrating remarkable achievements in the payroll, pensions, and reward sectors.
This year’s shortlist includes leading organisations such as British Transport Police, Sage Publications Limited, and Transport for Wales. Earning a place alongside these names highlights the scale and quality of work delivered by Morson’s in-house payroll function.
Our 51-strong payroll team manages payroll for more than 12,000 workers across 66 different locations. The team’s responsibilities stretch far beyond routine pay runs. They work across multiple business units, jurisdictions, and contractual arrangements, each with its own compliance requirements.
The team has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to navigate complex challenges while upholding the highest standards of service delivery, making them truly deserving of the In-House Payroll Team of the Year recognition. Their achievements range from successful data migration to a proactive approach in ensuring seamless compliance for five different businesses and the diverse workforce they employ.
A key factor in payroll team’s success is our investment in technology. Morson Group is committed to enhancing all facets of our business, and our payroll team is no exception.
