We are proud to be named a finalist in the Standing Tall Award category at the 2025 STF Awards, which celebrate individuals and organisations that have made a positive impact on the lives of veterans and the armed forces community.
The Standing Tall Foundation, founded in 2020 by Andy Reid MBE – Morson ambassador and ex-forces veteran – and John F. Tabern MSc, promotes mental and physical well-being, supporting those affected by addiction, financial hardship, housing challenges, and more.
Our recognition reflects the outstanding contribution that Morson has made to the Foundation since its inception. With Ged Mason OBE, Morson Group CEO, being a patron of the Standing Tall Foundation and Morson Group as a partner, we are incredibly proud to support initiatives that transform lives.
Through Morson Forces, our dedicated recruitment division for ex-forces community and their families, we help service leavers transition into civilian life, offering not just employment opportunities but access to HR, care, and well-being support.
We support service personnel through upskilling and reskilling, building professional networks, and assisting their spouses and partners. We are also proud holders of the MoD Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award, which is the Ministry of Defence’s highest honour, recognising over 25 years of outstanding support for those who serve and have served.
Our commitment mirrors Andy’s mission, extending beyond employment into charitable and fundraising activities. Teams from Morson Technical Services take part annually in the Walking with the Wounded Cumbrian Challenge, supporting veterans facing mental health challenges, unemployment, and homelessness. By accelerating access to therapy and early intervention, these programmes make a tangible difference. We are proud to back them.
Morson also supports veterans through events, such as the one in Bournemouth – the largest dedicated ex-forces recruitment event – helping service leavers find the right career fit as they transition to civilian life.
Being shortlisted for the Standing Tall Award is a true testament to our ongoing dedication to the ex-forces community and the positive impact we continue to make.
The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner & Awards Night on the 4th of October at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa.
