Mechanical Fitter (MEICA)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a long-term MEICA maintenance framework covering Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham

The Role

Youll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical assets including:

Pumps
Gearboxes
Valves
Actuators
Penstocks
Sluice Gates
Pipework
Pumping Station Equipment

Requirements
NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance (or equivalent)
CSCS Card
Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience
Ability to read engineering drawings
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
Water or wastewater industry experience
Pumping station experience
Confined Space
Lifting & Slinging
MEWP / PASMA
First Aid
Suitable Backgrounds
Water Treatment
Wastewater
Utilities
Power Generation
Energy from Waste
Process Plant
Industrial Maintenance

Locations
Work will be across:

Swindon, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Stroud and Cirencester, with candidates from Worcester, Hereford, Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Malvern and surrounding areas encouraged to apply.
