Drillers Wanted –Barrow-in-Furness
Ready to put your drilling skills to work on world-class engineering projects? Our client is looking for experienced Drillers to join our team in Barrow on a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, complying with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Interpret and work to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Select and inspect the appropriate tools and equipment required for drilling and stud welding operations, ensuring they are safe and fit for purpose.
• Verify completed work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
• Manufacturing Operations Duties

The successful candidate will be competent in:
Drilling to depth
Drilling clear holes
Flat-bottom drilling
Countersinking
Reaming
Tapping
Counter boring and back knifing
Facing
Stud welding

Essential Qualifications
Completed and approved apprenticeship in a relevant engineering or manufacturing trade.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.

Pay Rates (PAYE) LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY WITHIN 39 MILES FROM SITE
Standard Days: £20.10 per hour
3 on / 4 off Days: £24.12 per hour

Umbrella rates are also available.
