About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect with approximately 3 years post-Part 3 experience to develop their career within a talented and supportive design team.

You will work across a varied portfolio of projects, taking responsibility for design development and project delivery while working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting and taking ownership of architectural projects from concept through to completion
Developing creative design proposals and contributing to the overall design direction of projects
Producing detailed architectural drawings and information using specialist BIM and CAD software
Coordinating architectural information with engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors, technologists and other consultants
Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and liaising with Building Control and other statutory bodies
Developing project information in accordance with relevant technical, planning, environmental and regulatory requirements
Attending client, consultant and contractor meetings and contributing confidently to project discussions
Undertaking site visits and supporting the delivery of projects on site
Preparing presentations, reports, design proposals and project documentation
Developing project briefs and responding to client requirements
Identifying and resolving design and technical challenges
Supporting project teams with workflow, resources, programme and delivery
Building positive and trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, standards and industry best practice
Contributing to a collaborative studio environment and supporting junior members of the team
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious qualified Architect with around 3 years professional experience who is keen to take the next step in their career.

You will ideally have:

ARB registration and/or RIBA qualification
Approximately 3 years post-qualification experience within an architectural practice
Proven experience working on projects through design development and delivery stages
Strong proficiency in Revit/BIM and CAD software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong design and conceptual thinking abilities
Good understanding of UK planning, Building Regulations and project delivery processes
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultant teams
Strong organisational and project management skills
Excellent attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the wider project objectives
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
The ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and project requirements
A proactive, collaborative and professional approach
An understanding of environmental, social and sustainability considerations within architectural design
The ambition to develop towards greater project leadership and client-facing responsibilities
